Chile
I have been fortunate to be able to return many times to my native Chile and revisit places from my youth. The images are a glimpse of the natural beauty of the country and its people.

Torres del Paine National Park

Carretera Austral
Traveled through Chile Route 7: Carretera Austral (the Highway of the South) on February 2017. It is perhaps the most spectacular road in the world. Over 1,200 kilometers of natural beauty at the southernmost tip of the world. The Carretera Austral captures the hearts with its pristine landscapes and possibly the freshest air in the world. It runs through southern Chile connecting to other roads by ferry and routes into Argentina. The mostly unpaved road passes through lush temperate rainforests, skirts fjords while surrounded by snowcapped peaks, hanging glaciers, open plains, meandering glacial river and lush green valleys.

Fenced In
All properties in Chile are surrounded by fences of all types. Sometimes they don’t allow to appreciate the architecture of the houses inside. Sad.
